Oral presentation

  • The computers at the venue are equipped with Windows XP, Office 2007 UK 
  • MAC-users: Remember to brin an adapter for the data projector
  • The date and time of the presentations have been sent to all presenting authors on September 6. If you have not received your presentation time, please contact: ville.raasakka@ril.fi. The updated programme can always been checked here.
  • The oral presentation is 15 min (12 min speech, 3 min for questions)
  • Do not send your slides beforehand. Bring them with you on the USB memory and return it to the speakers' centre close to the registration area.
  • You can also use your own computer. MAC-users: remember to bring the adapter for the data projector (beamer).

Poster presentation

  • There will be three poster sessions meaning that one poster will be dispalyed for one day only. See the schedule here.
  • Prepare you poster so that it fits to the poster board (portrait layout, max. area to be used is 97 cm width x 200 cm height).
  • Be available at your poster during the lunch break at 13.00-14.00 so that anyone interested in your topic can discuss more about your paper. We will announce in the programme that the authors will be available for discussion during the lunch break.
  • If you wish to ship your poster beforehand, it is possible to use the services of SB11 logistics partner. They will store and deliver your poster to the correct spot and place it readily to the board (they can also resend it back to you, if you wish). Their services are for extra charge, please ask for an offer at info@smlog.fi. If you decide to use their services, please mark your shipment: POSTER / SESSION DATE / YOUR NAME / Paper number (7 digits)
  • Note: No shipments directly to the conferece venue!
  • You can always bring your poster with you and place it yourself on the right place at the venue. Please contact registration desk (see the sign presentations) to find out where to place your poster.

Paper publication

If the presenting author registers and pays the registration fee by August 1, the conference organizers will:

  • Publish the 2 page extended abstract in the printed proceedings (if the given template has been followed)
  • Publish the full paper in the electronic proceedings (if the given template has been followed)
  • You may update your paper until July 31 to meet the standards of the publication. Click here to go to the login-page. The login is your paper wab-number and the password has been sent by e-mail.
  • All presenting authors have received a confirmation e-mail concerning the paper acceptance (oral/poster/rejected)
  • We allow strictly only one paper per presenting author (oral or poster)
  • Click here to register on-line by August 1. The payments must be settled by August 8. After these dates the organizers can not guarantee the publication of the paper or the presentation slot (especially in the oral sessions)
